Sunrisers Hyderabad came into existence into 2013 by replacing Deccan Chargers.  The team is owned by Kalanithi Maran, owner of Sun TV Channel Network. The team was captained by David Warner. There is no fixed news on who will be the captain of the team. The team is currently coached by Tom Moddy while Muttiah Muralitharan is the bowling coach of the team. K. Srikkanth and VVS Laxman are playing the role of mentors for the team.
Sunrisers Hyderabad is still struggling to leave their impact on IPL as they are still on their way to play their first ever semifinal of Indian Premier League.
