Kings XI Punjab Team 2016 – Complete KXIP Squad List For IPL 9

If there is one team which always remain in news, it is Kings XI Punjab. It is in news due to their poor performance, it is in due to their good performance and thanks to Bollywood actress Preity Zinta that team has some Bollywood connection too. The team is owned by Ness Wadia, Preity Zinta, Mohit Burman, The Oberoi Group and Karan Paul. Their primary home ground is PCA Stadium and their secondary home ground is HPCA Stadium.
George Bailey is currently the captain of the team and it is coached by Sanjay Bangar. Joe Dawes is the bowling coach and R Sridhar is the fielding coach of the team. Kings XI Punjab has never won any edition of IPL or Cricket League Twenty 20. Although, they were the runner up of the last year’s edition of Indian Premier League.

There was a time when Kings XI Punjab hold the record for the longest winning streak in IPL. However, now this record belongs to Kolkata Knight Riders. However, the team did performed well in the first edition of the IPL but after that they were not even been able to make it to the semis. Thanks to George Bailey and Glenn Maxwell that things changed for them and Kings XI Punjab emerged as the second best player of IPL 2014.
