Royal Challengers Bangalore is one of those teams which reaches the finals but never win one. Nicknamed as Chokers of IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore made two final appearance in IPL and lost in both of them in 2009 and 2011. Not only in IPL, team also finished as runners-up in Champions League Twenty20 2011.  The team is owned by Sidhartha Mallya is the director of the team. M. Chinnaswamy Stadium is the home ground of Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Virat Kohli is the current captain of the team while Daniel Vettori is the head coach of the team. Allan Donald is playing the role of bowling coach and Trent Woodhill is playing the role of batting as well as fielding coach. Although the starting seasons of the IPL were good for the team but after 2011, the team didn’t even made to semifinals for even one single time.

Yuvraj Singh is no longer associated with RCB as Delhi Daredevils bought him at whopping INR 16 crores. The team is very much popular due to involvement of Bollywood actresses such as Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone who are the brand ambassadors of the team.
